Nippers Season 2024-2025

Welcome to Nippers at Wamberal Surf Life Saving Club, where the next generation of lifesavers is born! Our Nippers program is the heart of junior surf life saving in Australia, dedicated to shaping confident and capable future lifesavers who are ready to protect our beaches.

At Wamberal, kids aged 5-14 dive into a world of fun, friendship, and surf safety. Through age-specific activities both in and out of the water, they’ll learn essential skills like board paddling, shallow wading, beach running, and mastering the thrilling flags event. But it’s more than just physical fitness—our Nippers gain a deep understanding of the ocean, learn CPR and basic first aid, and are trained to respond in rescue situations.

Parents are also invited to join this vibrant community, learning alongside their children and gaining valuable surf lifesaving skills. Together, we build courage, resilience, teamwork, and a strong sense of community.
